Synetrix supports national procurement and e-government strategies. As a framework provider to multiple national and many other single authority and education establishment frameworks, Synetrix has developed and continually maintains systems which allow us to fully embrace the drive towards efficient and effective procurement in the public sector.
All procurement in the public sector is subject to EC Treaty principles of non-discrimination, equal treatment and transparency. EU procurement Directives set out procedures which must be followed before awarding a contract when its value exceeds set thresholds. The Directives have been implemented into national law in the UK by Regulations.
An alternative method that holds the same principles of fairness and equality, but can often provide a more efficient method of procurement is to use a Framework Agreement managed by The Office of Government Commerce.
Synetrix has been selected to provide solutions to public sector under The Office of Government Commerce OGCbuying.solutions, Adit (Broadband Aggregation) and the NHS Connecting for Health ACCS framework contracts due to our proven background of delivering best value solutions while remaining innovative in approach, both technically and commercially.
