Management Team

Synetrix began life as a privately owned company in 1998 by its six Directors. Their vision caused the company to evolve and grow to the point where a merger with Equinox Converged Solutions in 2004 and acquisition of i2Q in 2006 were natural evolutionary steps, adding significant expertise and footprint to the company profile.

It is due to the insight and leadership of the Directors, trusting to devolve great responsibility to their team, that Synetrix have been able to match the dynamic pace of change in the 21st century, to develop an organisation that maintains strong relationships with industry leading specialist partners, employs motivated staff and delivers consistently high quality and innovative solutions for its customers.

Alex Jadavji, Chief Executive Director

Alex Jadavji has nearly 20 years experience in the communications and networking industry. Alex has held both engineering roles at Xerox, Cabletron and sales management roles at Chipcom and IBM's Networking Hardware Division, before co-founding Synetrix in 1998.

Andy Hvass, Sales and Marketing Director

Andy Hvass has 20 years experience in the IT sector, with over 12 years in the communications industry. He has held senior product development and sales management positions at IBM, running the UK’s most successful sales region for IBM's Network Hardware Division. Andy is a co-founder of Synetrix and has been responsible for driving its impressive year on year growth in sales and profits. He has served as an invited member on a number of public sector consultation groups and programmes including the CALL (National Opportunities Fund) Peoples Network Funding Approvals Committee for Broadband services to UK Libraries and the Government sponsored National Broadband Stakeholders Group (Education Strand).

David Fahey, Chief Financial Officer

David Fahey has more than 20 years experience as a chartered accountant. He has held management positions at KPMG and Coopers and Lybrand, before joining PSM Micro, specialist PC and Systems Integration Company, as Finance Director. Following a 6-year period at PSM, David joined as one of the co-founders of Synetrix, and has been responsible for managing the impressive financial growth.

Mark Burton, Commercial Director

Mark Burton has over 12 years in the IT and communications industry. He was responsible for the network integration division of PSM micro, prior to co-founding Synetrix. Mark has been responsible for all supplier and operational aspects of Synetrix, and is now instrumental in new technology introductions and associated supplier relationships. Mark is also responsible for all commercial reviews of major bids from Synetrix.

Robert George, Technical Director (Engineering)

Over 18 years in the IT industry with 14 years experience in the communications industry and over 10 years in the design and implementation of complex high speed networking solutions. Robert has primary responsibility for the technical aspects of service delivery and customer support within the business.

Daniel Freedman, Technical Director (Pre-sales)

Over 12 years in the IT industry with 10 years experience in the communications industry and over 8 years in the design and implementation of complex high speed networking solutions. Since the formation of Synetrix, Daniel has been responsible for overseeing some of Synetrix' most complex and challenging implementations. Daniel has been instrumental in ensuring the quality of bids; designs and deployments maintain the high standards we have always set ourselves.
